“I first became involved in child care when my mother operated a child care centre in central Victoria. Since then I have been a nanny and babysitter in regional Victoria, Sydney and Melbourne and met some wonderful families along the way. We joined Sally's Sitters 18 months ago and have been so impressed with the professional, caring and reliable staff you employ.Within one week of joining we met Annette, who became our three children's full time Nanny. After about 1 month Mani started calling Annette "Aunty"! She is part of our family and is integral in our lives. My husband and I go to work, knowing that are children are going to do some great, imaginative activities. Most importantly they are shown much love!
When I asked our children what they liked about Aunty Annette these were their responses:
"She's the best! I like how she takes me to the skate board park to play basketball." ILuka, 9 years.

We have also used Sally's Sitters for occasional babysitting and have been very happy with the women who have cared for our children. Outside of the Agency I'm a Disability Support Worker and hold my First Aid level 1, Cert 3 in Disability & Aged care. I am currently undertaking my Cert 4. Sally encourages continuous learning to better ourselves and enhance the quality of service we already provide to families and children in our care. Family members can rest at ease.
When I'm baby-sitting, I like to arrive a little early so the children get to know me and can settle within their comfort zone knowing a family member is still near by. By the time the parents or family members are leaving, I find the kids are either hurrying them out the door or are too busy singing, drawing, playing etc... with me, they have to be reminded to at least say goodbye.
Sally Sitter's is so much more than an 'Agency'. Sally and her helper’s genuinely care about their clients as if they were family members. I've seen a lot in my line of work, and I know when I'm on to a good thing, (and you know how that saying goes)."
